By now I’ve got about 3-4 blogs and logging into each of them and sending a post to update them each is just going to be far too time consuming. So I googled ‘desktop blogging’ as that’s what I want to do. Came across a nifty little thang called ‘Scribefire’ which I’m using now by the way. You have to enable xml-rpc from your settings by going to the admin console going to settings > Writing > and put a tick in the box that reads to Enable the WordPress, Movable Type, MetaWeblog and Blogger XML-RPC publishing protocols. Otherwise when it asks you for the blog admin username and password, it’ll throw back an error telling you to go change this setting.
