Why Alex?

by Dave on September 20, 2009

When I joined Alex Jeffreys coaching club 2, I did not expect to be publishing to a blog site for the whole world to visit in on my thoughts. What did I expect? …I don’t really know. I have spent a lot of money on previous courses by ‘Gurus’ and ‘Guru-esses’ and like I said, they promised the earth and delivered dirt. But I have always persisted on the path of Internet Marketing, as I thought to myself “If they can do it..Holy dags…I can!” I just had to find the right mentor.

I was reading through my emails, deleting the offers of massive genital enhancement, fat to fit in a pill, breast augmentation and requests for my passport details and other credentials so that I could inherit thousands of dollars from a recently deceased Nigerian.

Scores of headings were left from various Internet Marketers, coaxing me to open their emails and get out my plastic so they could get a commission from whatever they were pimping. I’d become a bit chagrined and somewhat desensitised to these ploys, and would just evaluate their tactic before deleting. Very few Internet Marketers make it onto my white list. That’s not meant to come across as arrogant, I just value my time, and that’s what reading emails uses. Time that I (we) will only have once.

Alex Jefferys is was and is one of the few Internet Marketers on my white list. I’ll allude as to who else is on my list later on. For now I’m just focusing on why I bought into Alex’s program and didn’t request a refund, not that I was a serial ‘buy and refunder’ or anything, I rarely ever requested a refund for various reasons.  So why did I actually believe that what Alex was offering was going to deliver a road map to my dreams?

Maybe it was the fact that Alex is a fellow Welshman that’s why I invested trust in his program,

Maybe it was the passion to learn and teach is evident in his videos,

Maybe it was because Alex GUARANTEED that this would work for anyone who worked it,

Maybe it was because there was a 60 day money back guarantee,

Maybe it was because the first live call lasted 4hrs, Alex staying on the call until every question was         answered.

While all these things are true, it was the passion in his voice and mannerisms to help people become successful that convinced me that this training program was something that wasn’t just another overpriced  entry fee to a tacky Q and A forum. It is something with a real person with real honest passion to help anyone who is prepared to roll up their sleeves and knuckle down.

So, this has been my longest post so far.

Please feel free to follow me over the stepping stones across the stream and on the road to success.

Hi Dave,
I like the look of your blog. It is very clean, everything in order and easy to read all your posts. This is actually a comment for several of your posts at once.

I can see your dry sense of humor in all your writing, as you mention in #15 of your 25 things. One thing I envy you for is your IT background (#2). That has been the biggest headache for me in getting my blog up and running with any little details taken care of. I’ve had to ask for help from some of the students and they’ve been nice enough to help me.

One question I have for you: I notice at the end of some of your posts it shows what category the post is in and what your tags are. Mine doesn’t show either of those, and I would like for them to show. Did you use a plugin for that? If so, which one? Also, is it related to your “pick and click” over to the right? That’s neat! I hope it is something that I can install and not something that your IT mind has dreamed up…unless, of course, you can help me set it up, too.

Talk soon,
Dawn
